We’re looking for a driven Sales Manager to join a leading B2B events portfolio.

You’ll be responsible for driving revenue growth across exhibition space, sponsorship packages and year-round digital opportunities. The role combines new business development with account management, giving you ownership of both pipeline generation and client retention.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering against a personal revenue target across stand sales, sponsorship and digital products
  • Proactively generating new business through outbound calls, email, social selling and virtual meetings
  • Managing and growing a portfolio of existing clients, focusing on renewals, upselling and multi-year deals
  • Selling across a broad range of opportunities including exhibition stands, event sponsorships, and digital lead generation products
  • Building relationships with senior decision-makers
  • Attending industry events, competitor exhibitions and client meetings to pitch, present and close deals
  • Maintaining accurate pipeline management, forecasting and reporting via CRM
  • Working to structured activity KPIs in a performance-driven sales environment
  • Collaborating closely with marketing and event teams to identify target markets, shape campaigns and develop new commercial opportunities

About You

  • Minimum 3 years’ B2B sales experience with a proven track record of hitting or exceeding targets
  • Background in event/exhibition sales
  • Strong new business skills, including outbound prospecting and pipeline building
  • Experience managing accounts, including renewals and upselling
  • Confident communicator, able to engage senior stakeholders both remotely and face-to-face
  • Consultative sales approach with strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage a busy pipeline and administrative workload
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally internationally for events and client meetings
