We are looking for a motivated and results-driven individual to join a fast-growing and market-leading events business. You will be responsible for selling exhibition space, sponsorship, and digital packages while also managing key accounts and generating new business opportunities. What will this role include?
- Selling exhibition space and sponsorship and digital packages
- Managing and upselling existing accounts
- Lead sourcing new business opportunities
- Cold calling new prospects
- Proactively dealing with all incoming enquiries to ensure that they are dealt with in an efficient and professional manner
- In person meetings when necessary
- Timely completion of related admin including CRM system data input and management
- Attending competitor and industry events, may require travel both UK and overseas
The ideal candidate will have/ be:
- Sales experience in a media setting (preferred but not mandatory)
- Strong negotiation skills
- Personable, friendly, and approachable
- Excellent attention to detail
- Organised and has good time management skills
- Proactive and self-motivated
