An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to lead the evolution of digital marketing across multiple brands within a publishing and media environment. This role focuses on transforming digital platforms into high-performing, conversion-driven channels. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategies that increase website engagement, improve user journeys, and drive new membership registrations through targeted digital marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement digital marketing strategies across multiple brands and channels, including website, social media, digital display, SEO, SEM, and PPC.
- Increase website traffic, engagement, and session duration through targeted campaigns and optimisation strategies.
- Optimise websites to function as high-conversion platforms by improving user experience and digital user journeys.
- Drive new membership registrations using targeted campaigns, landing pages, and conversion-focused content.
- Manage and optimise digital marketing channels such as email marketing, social media, paid advertising, and marketing automation.
- Monitor and analyse digital performance metrics to refine strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.
- Work closely with content teams and other departments to support content planning, promotion, and audience engagement.
- Plan and manage marketing campaign budgets.
- Forecast digital growth metrics and set performance targets.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing delivery teams to maximise marketing outcomes.
- Produce reports and insights on digital behaviour, user journeys, and audience engagement trends.
- Stay informed about emerging digital trends, tools, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain digital marketing best-practice guidelines across the organisation.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in digital marketing, ideally within publishing, media, or a B2B environment.
- Strong understanding of digital user journeys, conversion optimisation, and analytics.
- Experience managing and improving websites to drive conversions and engagement.
- Solid knowledge of SEO, SEM, PPC, email marketing, social media, and marketing automation tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into practical insights and actions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Self-motivated with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Experience working across multiple brands or sectors.
- Understanding of membership-based business models.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and CRM platforms.
- Strong understanding of modern marketing technologies and digital marketing techniques.
