Our client, a leading name in consumer events, is seeking a commercially driven and entrepreneurial Commercial Manager to lead revenue growth across a flagship seasonal lifestyle event. This senior sales role focuses on driving stand and sponsorship revenue through new business development, creative partnership opportunities, and strategic account management. The ideal candidate is confident pitching to senior stakeholders, skilled at crafting compelling commercial proposals, and motivated by exceeding revenue targets in a fast-paced environment.
You will play a central role in shaping the event's commercial success—bringing in high-quality exhibitors and sponsors across home, lifestyle, gifting, food and entertainment—while ensuring all partnerships are delivered to a high standard on site.
What you will be doing:
- Leading sales strategy across stand bookings, sponsorships, and experiential partnerships
- Building a high-quality pipeline of clients across lifestyle, gifting, food & drink, and home sectors
- Creating tailored, commercially compelling proposals that deliver value for both client and event
- Negotiating and closing high-value deals, owning senior client relationships
- Collaborating with content, marketing, and operations to deliver best-in-class experiences
- Managing and mentoring a small team, leading from the front on key accounts
- Monitoring performance metrics and refining strategy to optimise commercial outcomes
- Producing post-event evaluations and recommendations to inform future sales plans
What they are looking for:
- Proven track record in senior event sales or sponsorship roles
- Experience driving revenue across large-scale, high-volume exhibitions or B2C events
- Skilled at new business development and confident pitching at senior level
- Strong written, verbal and proposal writing skills
- Commercially strategic, with strong negotiation instincts
- Comfortable owning key client relationships and spotting growth opportunities
- Team-oriented, with experience leading and motivating others
- Experience within lifestyle, interiors or consumer brands is a bonus
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident commercial lead who enjoys a fast-paced sales environment, thrives on hitting (and exceeding) targets, and brings creative thinking to partnership development.
