Are you a marketing expert fluent in German? Savvy Media has a great opportunity for you! Our client is a renowned and high-performing player in the industry, specialising in events and exhibitions. They are looking for a marketing manager to join their dynamic team and work on a variety of projects across major industries, contributing to award-winning and impactful events worldwide.

What will this role include?

  • Collaborate with the wider team and partners to develop and implement marketing strategies, product strategies, lead-generation strategies, and marketing campaigns
  • Execute marketing campaigns and produce reports with key statistics and forecasts
  • Oversee the creative process for marketing materials
  • Work with the sales team to create campaigns that drive revenue across all products
  • Lead outbound marketing communications
  • Ensure all relevant stakeholders review and approve external marketing materials
  • Regularly review marketing efforts using the marketing plan, KPIs, audience demographics, and industry trends, and provide recommendations
  • Build and manage community-building and social media strategies to drive engagement and brand awareness
  • Coordinate with Finance to manage marketing budgets and purchase orders
  • Oversee PR strategy including managing press lists, inviting press, and handling media relations across all channels
  • Lead the effort to generate revenue from delegates, visitors, and attendees

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Must be fluent in German
  • Good team leadership experience
  • Proven track record in developing and executing creative and marketing strategies
  • Skilled at managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
  • Advanced IT Skills and systems management (CRM, CMS, Databases, Email marketing, etc)
  • Proficient in digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics and Google Ads
  • Good understanding of data protection regulations
  • Experienced in identifying key terms for data segmentation purposes
  • Solid experience in implementing and overseeing digital marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Strong commercial acumen
