Job Responsibilities
Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Early Career Software Engineer (Radar Systems). In this role, you will plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities. Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment.
The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge in programming in C++ and other object-oriented programming languages.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance; this position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor\’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science.
- Knowledge in programming in C++ or other object-oriented programming languages.
- Coursework in data structures, operating systems, design patterns.
- Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
Desired Skills
- Familiar with GIT, or similar Configuration management tools.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Gitlab and other workflow management technologies.
- Familiarity with agile development methodology.
- Familiarity with UNIX-based operating systems, such as Linux.
- Willing to travel occasionally.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas) is $60,200 – $106,030. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location.
