Storehouse Admin Support

Southend Vineyard Church are seeking to appoint a Storehouse Admin Support to join their dynamic, caring team to work at their community café and food bank at ‘The Storehouse’, Queensway, Southend on Sea, Essex. The ‘Storehouse’ supports hundreds of vulnerable and needy people throughout the week. It is a caring, supportive environment, where people have access to food bags, hot meals and a caring community. They partner with a variety of other organisations to cater forall ages, backgrounds and needs.’ A client said: “This place is essential to me; it helps me get through the week.”

The position comes at an exciting time for Southend Vineyard as they strive to fulfil their vision of being ‘A community transformed by Jesus to bring life and hope to Southend’.

This person will support the work of the Storehouse foodbank and community café by manning the reception desk and updating their database and carrying out other administrative tasks. Working days will be Monday, Wednesday and Fridays 9.45am-2.15pm, plus an additional 1.5 hours per week at a time agreed with The Storehouse manager.

• Location: SOUTHEND ON SEA, ESSEX
• Contract: Part Time (15 hours a week, on a one-year fixed term contract)
• Salary: National Living Wage, depending on qualifications and experience
