The primary objective of this role is to lead the design and delivery of complex identity security solutions, ensuring exceptional technical outcomes for customers within Saviynt’s Identity Security practice. The Professional and Expert Services teams at Saviynt provide partners and customers with deep technical expertise and implementation support to guarantee success.

As a Lead Architect, you will be responsible for owning the end-to-end architecture and technical delivery of Saviynt’s Identity Security solutions. This role focuses on designing scalable, secure, and high-performing identity solutions while acting as a trusted technical authority for both customers and internal teams. You will play a critical role in bridging business requirements with technical implementation, ensuring best practices across Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) and broader Identity Security domains.

What you will do:

  • Own end-to-end technical implementation of identity security solutions, ensuring successful delivery across requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment phases to achieve rapid time to value.
  • Lead solution design for complex Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) implementations, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and security best practices.
  • Make and guide key architectural decisions, promoting design standards, integration patterns, and scalability across identity security solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership across the full SDLC, including system analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Manage both technical and non-technical stakeholder communication, ensuring alignment and accountability across internal teams and customer/partner organisations.
  • Proactively identify technical risks, dependencies, and implementation challenges, driving mitigation strategies in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership by conducting implementation reviews, performing comparative analysis of solution options, and delivering clear, strategic recommendations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers and partners, supporting identity security strategy, roadmaps, and adoption of industry best practices.
  • Drive innovation by introducing modern design principles, emerging methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives across implementations.
  • Guide and mentor engineers and consultants, fostering a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing.
  • Support integration of identity solutions with enterprise platforms such as ERP systems, HR systems, and ITSM tools.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience leading and delivering complex Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) implementations, with hands-on expertise in one or more leading IGA platforms.
  • Strong consulting and advisory skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Deep understanding of identity governance principles, processes, and best practices within enterprise environments.
  • Excellent communication and technical presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and delivery.
  • Strong experience in solution architecture, including microservices, integration patterns, and enterprise system design.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex queries.
  • Hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, REST and SOAP web services, and system integration.
  • Solid understanding of network fundamentals, cryptography, certificates, and Unix/Linux environments, including shell scripting.
  • Strong knowledge of identity systems such as LDAP and Active Directory, and protocols including SAML, OAuth, and SCIM.
  • Experience integrating with enterprise and cloud platforms such as SAP, ERP systems, Workday, and ServiceNow.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure is a plus.

If required for this role, you will:

  • Complete security & privacy literacy and awareness training during onboarding and annually thereafter.
  • Review (initially and annually thereafter), understand, and adhere to Information Security/Privacy Policies and Procedures.
