We have a rare opportunity for a Surveyor to join our Operational Capital Markets division within the Hotel Valuations team. The ideal candidate should be used to working in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment, have excellent attention to detail, be able to take initiative and build a rapport with clients and the team.

The successful candidate will be part of a highly motivated and successful team based in our Margaret Street office. This is an exciting role offering the opportunity for a candidate to generate their own instruction base while also working with colleagues on existing projects, with great scope for advancement within the firm. The team prides itself on low staff turnover and creating a collaborative working environment.

No specific experience in the hotel sector is required, but the candidate should have an interest in this growing sector.

The team specialises in hotel, apart-hotel and hostel valuations, working with the sector’s leading lenders, developers and investors. We undertake most of our work throughout the UK, with approximately 20% of instructions in Europe offering opportunities for work related travel to top European cities. The successful candidate will gain experience in a broad range of asset types (budget, mid-market, luxury, resorts, country-house and development work) in a variety of locations, both single asset work and portfolio transactions. Recent valuations include The Savoy and Six Senses Hotels in London, the Ritz Madrid, the A&O European Hostel portfolio and the Park Plaza European Hotel portfolio.

Savills operational capital markets (OCM) is a 150-person strong division that has advised on over £25 billion of transactions in the UK & EMEA Operational Real Estate sectors in the past 3 years.
