An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Surveyor, Major Projects to join our Utilities & Infrastructure team.
You’ll be responsible for the further development of our Major Projects Team. Your focus will be on delivery DCO related services to clients across a variety of infrastructure projects.
You will be a Chartered Surveyor with experience of DCO projects, ideally having worked as part of a team on complex projects across sectors.
You’ll be based around Cambridge/Chelmsford area and your focus will be in the following areas:
- Drive the delivery of Land Programmes throughout the whole project lifecycle to ensure they are delivered safely, on time, to budget, meeting business & technical requirements.
- Acting as a subject matter expert on land matters on DCO projects.
- Lead the writing and implementation of DCO land strategies.
- Ensure effective client and stakeholder communications.
- Work collaboratively with other Savills teams (e.g. Land Referencing) to ensure DCO application documents are delivered.
- As part of this role, you are also expected to lead and enhance the team, develop strong working relationships with partners across the practice and identify business development opportunities (both internally and externally).

The Infrastructure Projects team is a single department covering the whole of the UK. It consists of over 60 staff located throughout the country at entry level to those with over 30 years’ experience.
We specialise in Infrastructure and Utilities clients and projects and are passionate about the high levels of service and collaborative working with our clients.
