Overview
In this role you will join Savills’ Central Planning team in Reading or Oxford to shape significant development projects across the Thames Valley. You will manage planning applications, land promotion opportunities, planning appraisals and appeals, while building strong client relationships and contributing to business development. The role includes mentoring junior colleagues and helping grow the team’s capability across residential, commercial, renewables, water infrastructure, education and rural sectors. Responsibilities
- manage planning applications, land promotion opportunities, planning appraisals and appeals
- build and maintain client relationships to support business development
- contribute to team growth and development of talent through mentoring
- deliver planning consultancy advice across multiple sectors (residential, commercial, renewables, water infrastructure, education, rural)
- support and coordinate with cross-office planning professionals on large-scale projects
- help shape project strategy and provide expert planning advice to clients
Key requirements
- RTPI or MRICS qualification
- experience in planning consultancy or local authority planning environment
- ability to manage a varied portfolio of planning projects
