Role Overview
We have an exciting new opportunity for a RTPI and/or RICS qualified Planner to join a planning team based out of either Manchester or London. The team\’s reach is particularly diverse acting on a wide range of retail, leisure, urban regeneration, commercial and economic development projects on a UK wide basis for national and regional developers, investors, major corporates and occupiers.

The team\’s reach is particularly diverse acting on a wide range of retail, leisure, urban regeneration, commercial and economic development projects on a UK wide basis for national and regional developers, investors, major corporates and occupiers.
This is an important role within our Planning team to help deliver a diverse range of exciting and high profile projects across retail, commercial, leisure and urban regeneration.

Team Overview
The team is based in Manchester and London and consists of 10 planners and is a market-leading commercially focussed planning team that is an integral part of the biggest planning consultancy in the UK with over 300 planning specialists covering every land use sector and geographical area in the UK. Savills planning division has secured the number one position in Planning magazine’s Annual Consultancy Survey as the largest planning consultancy in the UK, for the 8th consecutive year.
Examples of current projects include the redevelopment of a brownfield site in Salford to provide over 3,000 new homes and a new park and the tallest residential building in Europe; substantial new life sciences schemes in Stevenage, Oxford and Cambridge; delivering significant retail park development initiatives for high quality institutional investors and pension funds; working with developers to deliver numerous high profile food stores across the UK; and delivering significant urban regeneration projects in Liverpool City Centre.
The team works cross-divisionally with other key Savills teams including development, management, investment, occupational agency and building and project consultancy.
