In this role, you will take ownership of your own projects while being embedded within the client’s organisation. Projects will vary in scale and complexity, from small negotiations to large infrastructure developments across both rural and urban environments. You will also work closely with a regional Savills team to support the overall delivery of client services. This is a home‑based position with access to our offices in Lincoln, York, Leeds, and Newcastle.

Responsibilities and Skills

  • Proactively manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritising workload and tracking progress to meet deadlines.
  • Lead negotiations for land consents, acquisitions, and compensation claims.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and line managers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide clear, reasoned advice and recommendations to clients.
  • Facilitate new customer connections, lease renewals, and land acquisitions for substations and underground cable infrastructure.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of billing processes, financial responsibilities, and accurate time recording.
  • Collaborate across Savills disciplines to deliver integrated and high‑quality services.
  • Maintain strong client and customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and trust.
  • Exhibit dependability, resilience, and a commitment to delivering results.
  • Professional qualifications such as MRICS and/or FAAV are desirable, but not essential.

Team Overview

The Savills Land Consents team in the North of England support a wide range of utility and infrastructure projects, from the installation or removal of a single electricity pole, to full overhead line rebuilds. Our role includes identifying and engaging stakeholders impacted by the works and obtaining necessary permissions to proceed. The wider Rural division operates across the UK, with a network of 37 offices and 13 disciplines. Working with us means being part of a welcoming and collaborative environment where you will work with colleagues to push our industry forward.

Additional Information
