An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate/Associate Director of EIA Co-ordination and PM with experience of Planning Act 2008 procedures. This role would be ideal for a candidate who has experience and knowledge of EIA in the NSIP and similar regimes and who wishes to further their career in the UK’s largest planning consultancy that operates within Savills UK’s extremely diverse real estate advisory and transactional business.

This is a diverse and exciting role to work across a number of existing appointments on Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs) across various project sectors including CCUS, hydrogen, renewables, water, waste water, rail freight, power transmission, and ports.

Team Overview

Savills Environment & Infrastructure was established in 2021 with a focus on infrastructure projects. Based in our planning division, we support our colleagues and clients with the challenges of consenting essential infrastructure. Our primary focus is on renewables and net zero, including carbon capture, wind, solar and hydrogen, as well as rail freight, ports, water and waste.

We work closely with Savills Earth, our specialist sustainability division, which includes experts from Engineering & Design Consultancy, Property Management, Energy Consultancy, Social Value, Energy Procurement, Environmental Economics and Research. E&I is one of five national, sector-focussed, teams in Savills planning division. We work with the 18 regionally based teams to serve our client’s projects, which are across the UK. E&I has a core of EIA Co-ordinators and Projects Managers, and specialists in climate, population health, air quality and noise.
