A role has become available for an Assistant Client Accountant based in the Glasgow office. This is a non‑supervisory position within a team of 36. The role supports the financial control of client money held on behalf of Investors to help manage a property portfolio. The Assistant Client Accountant will work closely with the Fund Controllers, assisting with the tasks outlined below.
Responsibilities
- Managing the shared mailbox
- Daily payment distribution management
- Preparing and executing payments to suppliers and clients
- Preparing client reports for internal circulation
- Assisting with periodic reporting to clients
- Assisting with completing accurate reconciliations of client reports
- Transferring rent monies to client
- Processing client property related transactions
- Assisting with managing and maintaining the property and tenant (lease) database
- Assisting and supporting Client Accountants and Senior Client Accountants with KPI related tasks and deliverables

Training will be provided to ensure all the required knowledge and experience is obtained throughout the apprenticeship to qualify successfully. We will provide the full suite of Savills training programme including mandatory health and safety and office training, as well as specific training relevant to your role. We ensure that your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is current and that all staff are fully up to date with changes to legislation and business needs.

Working Week: Five full days in the office, working hours 9:00am to 5:30pm. One of these days each week will be dedicated to apprenticeship studies whilst in the office.
