Job Description
Role Overview
Savills are seeking an experienced GIS Product Manager to lead the development, management, and optimisation of our internal geospatial platform. This role will oversee the delivery of GIS products and services leveraging our Esri Enterprise license and PostgreSQL database environment, ensuring they deliver maximum business value to stakeholders.
The successful candidate will act as the bridge between business needs and manage the entire product life cycle for GIS products and services used for internal business purposes, from ideation, defining product requirements, creating product roadmaps, and prioritizing features and enhancements.
You’ll need to have:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or GIS Lead within a GIS-focused environment.
- Strong understanding of Esri Enterprise architecture (ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online integration).
- Solid working knowledge of SQL querying and tuning, particularly with experience in PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
- Familiarity with API integrations, web services, and data pipelines (e.g., Python, FME, REST APIs).
- Demonstrated ability to manage product roadmaps, backlogs, and Agile delivery cycles.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value.
- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
- Familiarity with BI/analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for spatial data integration.

The Insight & Data team support Savills technology initiatives through the creation of applications to support fee earners to target opportunities using data. The team comprises over 30 people across three countries, with a wide range of technical skillsets to support the research and development function for Savills UK Data applications.
