Role Overview
We have a great opportunity for a dynamic newly-qualified Development Surveyor to join our East Midlands Development Services team in Nottingham. This role will involve you in a diverse range of projects including development consultancy for private and public sector clients; sale and acquisition of residential and mixed use development land and plots; medium and longer term strategic land and valuation.
This is a transactional and professional role including traditional agency work, acting for both vendors and purchasers of development land together with sourcing and finding a development partner on strategic land held by our landowner clients. Whilst not essential, having good planning knowledge is important to help identify land, engage with landowners and secure new strategic land opportunities.
There is also scope to work alongside colleagues to source, process and complete consultancy advice such as feasibility studies and market reports. You will start to build your network of contacts both externally and within the business in order to start generating your own business as quickly as possible.
The role will involve working across the Savills wider business including the Development division, Planning, Residential Development Sales, Rural and Residential Capital Markets.

The Savills East Midlands Development Team is based in Nottingham and provides local experience and expertise across Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire and Rutland. We offer a range of development consultancy and agency advisory services tailored to the specific needs of Landowners, Promoters, Housebuilders, Registered Providers and Build to Rent clients. We act for a broad spectrum of clients, developing and implementing strategies to convert potential into development opportunities, and optimising the value of assets.
