Overview
Community & Events Executive – The Leadenhall Building. This is a high profile role in a world-class business location. We seek an ambitious, innovative candidate who can deliver consistently strong communications campaigns year round, with events and moments that help put the building on the cultural map. The Community and Events Executive will support the client’s brand vision through the development and implementation of an occupier engagement strategy year round, including management of all aspects of the events programme to ensure health & safety compliance and safe setup and breakdown of activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy: Implement an engaging occupier engagement strategy that demonstrates the client’s brand vision. Develop relationships with occupier contacts and build a robust occupier database. Implement a year‑round calendar of events to engage building occupiers. Lead on the development of the building app and promote the programme of events. Provide content for social media. Liaise with occupiers to promote events, discuss community initiatives, and gather feedback in real time.
- Branding: Ensure brand values and asset branding are represented in the calendar of events and community communications. Contribute to branding development using end‑user insights when appropriate.
- Annual Planning and Reporting: Work with the City Cluster Lead to agree an annual plan aligned with customer insight. Propose budgets and resources, select suppliers, monitor the plan against budget, and provide monthly activity reports with insights and recommendations.
- Place‑Shaping & Events: Prepare and implement a structured calendar of events in partnership with the City Cluster Lead and Savills team. Ensure seamless event management and clear communication of events to customers. Gather attendee feedback to inform future events.
- CSR: Create a CSR plan supporting client policies and build links with local authorities, neighbours, community groups and media. Run scheduled community events.
- Communication: Deliver a customer engagement communications strategy including CRM, website, newsletters, LinkedIn, app management, user‑generated content, posters/flyers, and innovative engagement activities. Coordinate with PR agencies as appointed.
- Commercialisation: Support revenue opportunities from sponsorship, experiential activities and advertising while maintaining brand alignment. Manage the space as a venue for functions, filming or other events that generate income or positive publicity.
- Other: Collaborate with building management to maximise use of the Curesosity app and platform and provide general support as required.
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Experience in events management, marketing, communications or PR
- Customer-centric mindset and understanding of engagement metrics
- Ability to build relationships at all business levels
- Strong writing skills with impeccable grammar and creativity
- Ability to develop and implement annual plans delivering strong customer engagement
- Experience in managing agencies, media partners and service providers
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Effective prioritisation, deadlines, and ability to multitask
- Good networking skills and stakeholder relationship management
- Knowledge of digital, social and innovative technologies (e.g., AI)
- Track record in delivering event strategies, commercial targets and budget management
- Experience managing agency staff, consultants and suppliers

- Drive for continuous improvement and change management experience
- Confidence presenting ideas to senior management in formal settings
Working Hours
Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:30 (unless required for an event)
Salary
£30,000 – £35,000
