Placement Dates
The placement will be for a duration of one week, from Monday 27th July until Friday 31st July 2026. The placement location will be confirmed at the time of offer, but will be based in Stow.
About the Programme
The Savills Apprenticeship Insight Programme is designed for students who are considering applying for a Savills apprenticeship starting in September 2027. The programme is open to individuals aged 16 or over who have completed their GCSEs and are currently in Year 12 or Year 13 (first or second year of college), or who have progressed beyond this stage in their education. This one‑week programme provides participants with the opportunity to shadow a current Savills apprentice, gaining valuable insight into the world of property and the apprenticeship experience. Participants will develop a better understanding of the different career pathways available at Savills, learn about life as an apprentice, and gain first‑hand exposure to a professional working environment. During the programme there will be the opportunity to network with other students, current apprentices and directors from across the business.
Residential Division
Founded in 1855, the Residential division supports clients with buying, selling, letting and renting properties. The residential sales team provides expert advice throughout the property journey, helping clients navigate negotiations, communication and the overall sales process. The division also includes specialists in a range of property areas, including country homes, waterfront properties and new developments. Working closely with our Lettings and Auctions teams, our offering ensures clients can get everything they require for their property needs under one roof.
Expenses
This placement will be unpaid but we will expense travel up to £10 a day. You will also receive a voucher for your lunch each day.
Assessment
Application form (applications close on Monday 29th June). Successful applicants will be contacted to complete a telephone interview (between Monday 6th July – Friday 10th July). If successful at the telephone interview stage, applicants will be invited to a virtual interview with the team (between Monday 13th July - Friday 17th July). Candidates are advised not to copy answers directly from Chat GPT or other AI platforms. Please be aware that copying responses directly from these platforms will result in your application being rejected and not considered for further progression. We reserve the right to close applications at our discretion prior to the stated deadline. We recommend submitting your application as soon as possible to ensure consideration.
Entry Requirements
Applicants must be at least 16 years old to participate and should have completed their GCSEs, be currently studying A Levels (or equivalent), or have recently finished qualifications at this level. We’re ideally looking for students in Year 12 or Year 13 (first or second year of college) or those who have just completed their studies. Applicants must hold GCSE English and Maths, Grade 4 or above. You must be eligible to live, work and remain in the UK, within 1 hour’s commute of the office you are applying to. Please note that applicants are eligible to apply for only one format of the work experience programme — either in‑person or virtual. We are unable to consider applications for both.
