Are you looking to develop your sector-wide financial and regulatory analysis skills in a role where you can make a difference in helping affordable housing providers deliver better homes and services to residents? We are looking for a motivated and ambitious individual to lead on regulatory inspection support and financial governance, and to support across our governance, risk and regulation projects. This role will involve reviewing, assessing and advising housing providers on financial viability, meeting regulatory expectations/outcomes, and good governance.
Within a mission‑driven social purpose sector this role provides an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take a senior role, continue developing the service offer and use their analytical and communication skills within our market‑leading Affordable Housing Consultancy. The successful candidate will be supported by a dynamic team of experts and work closely with housing associations, local authorities, for‑profit registered providers and investors to ensure they have effective infrastructure and arrangements in place to navigate a fast‑paced and challenging operating and regulatory environment.

The role is based in our Governance, Risk and Regulation team which delivers consultancy to the affordable housing sector on governance, board effectiveness, regulatory assessment and engagement, recovery support and improvement planning following regulatory downgrade, consumer standards, risk assessment, merger and partnerships, affordable housing investment, new registrations and strategic growth. We have a positive and supportive culture and are looking for someone with the skills, personality and ability to make a positive contribution to our team.
Governance, Risk and Regulation sits within our Affordable Housing Consultancy team of around 20 people. The wider team helps these organisations to meet regulatory expectations, manage their assets proactively, acquire and sell tenanted properties, and strategically plan future financial and business development.
