Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrator and ESG Coordinator to join the on-site team at Oxford North, a new innovation district purposefully designed to enable the next century of life-changing discoveries in science and technology.

This role is essential in supporting the Property Management team with day-to-day operations while driving Environmental, Social, and Governance initiatives to achieve strategic sustainability goals.

The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator with the ability to foster collaboration among on-site teams, contractors, and occupiers. They will coordinate operational activities, monitor sustainability performance, and ensure compliance with ESG objectives to deliver the Client’s vision for the innovation district.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Support:

  • Act as a central point of contact, coordinating communication between occupiers, contractors, and service providers to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Prepare high-quality reports, correspondence, and updates for stakeholders, including property management and board reports.
  • Maintain and update operational platforms such as Elogbooks (Facilities Management) and Data Station (Health & Safety compliance).
  • Support event coordination, tenant meetings, and marketing initiatives to promote community engagement.

ESG Coordination:

  • Monitor, collect, and report sustainability data, including energy, carbon, waste, and social impact metrics, in line with the Client’s ESG strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Property Management ESG team to implement best practices and achieve sustainability performance targets.
  • Liaise with external consultants to support documentation and certifications such as ISO 14001, ISO 50001, and biodiversity frameworks.
  • Promote sustainability best practices across site teams, service providers, and occupiers.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

Essential:

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with experience engaging various stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management abilities, capable of meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in IT systems, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and operational platforms like Elogbooks or similar.
  • Knowledge of sustainability principles and their application in real estate, with a passion for driving ESG initiatives.
  • Familiarity with the property industry and experience working with real estate assets.

Desirable:

  • Experience in analysing sustainability data, including metrics on energy, water, waste, and carbon.
  • Knowledge of certifications and standards such as ISO 14001, ISO 50001, and biodiversity frameworks.
  • Familiarity with social value initiatives and community engagement strategies.
