Purpose of the Role The Technical Services and Project Manager will be responsible for, and required to manage to a high standard, St James Quarter’s technical services, retail delivery and building projects to include implementing works identified in the Planned Preventative Maintenance report. For technical services the priority will be to identify, plan and implement cost effective improvement strategies, ensuring St James Quarter, is maintained and operates as effectively as possible to allow occupiers to operate efficiently, whilst protecting the asset and meeting all statutory and environmental requirements. In addition, the Technical Services Manager will cover all aspects of retail delivery, co-ordinating new and existing occupiers’ shop-fit works to ensure the St James Quarter, benefits from retailers’ most recent shop fits whilst meeting all statutory and operational requirements. The role also includes the project management of large scale mechanical and electrical, fabric and planned preventative maintenance projects ensuring that the day to day operations not impacted.
