Purpose of the Role The Cleaning Supervisor is responsible for the cleaning of the Shopping Park & surrounding areas to maintain a safe and pleasant environment for our customers, through the monitoring of Health & Safety systems and the promotion of best practice throughout all tasks. The Cleaning Supervisor will also be responsible for the recruitment, training & general operations of all staff within this area. Key Responsibilities To ensure all Health & Safety policies and procedures are adhered to at all times. To ensure all COSHH, SDS & SOPS documentation are kept in a safe and secure place in the cleaning store room & the management suite. To ensure all cleaning compliance is kept in a safe and secure place in the management suite. To be fully versed in workforce+ cleaning compliance and that of cleaning staff also have a general understanding. Ensure the site is kept to a high standard of cleanliness and that standard operating procedures are being performed daily. To prepare staff rotas and ensure that they are adhered to & updating line manager of any changes. Request Agency cleaning staff (Labour) cover to the line manager in advance of any holidays that have been agreed.
