The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for delivering a high-quality, in-house recruitment service across Savills Investment Management's global offices, focusing on reducing reliance on external agencies and lowering recruitment spend. The role develops direct sourcing strategies, strengthens internal hiring capability, and partners closely with hiring managers, HR colleagues, and senior stakeholders to attract exceptional talent that supports the organisation's growth and long-term strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Company’s Talent Acquisition Policy and resourcing budget, ensuring new hires are budgeted and approved with internal governance.
  • Partner with Group Finance to align proposed salary levels with market benchmarks during resource planning and forecasting.
  • Work with hiring managers and HR to define role requirements, candidate profiles and hiring strategies.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, acting as a trusted advisor on all recruitment matters.
  • Directly source and attract high-calibre candidates via LinkedIn, professional networks, referrals and direct sourcing.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from role briefing through to offer and onboarding.
  • Develop high-quality job descriptions and recruitment materials that reflect business needs and market positioning.
  • Screen applications and assess candidates to produce high-quality shortlists aligned to agreed role requirements.
  • Coordinate interview processes to ensure an efficient and positive experience for candidates and hiring teams.
  • Handle offer processes, including compensation discussions and negotiations in partnership with HR and hiring managers.
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and search partners, including negotiating standard terms and maintaining the SIM preferred supplier list.
  • Track and report agency spend and cost savings from direct hiring.
  • Guide and coach hiring managers on best-practice interview techniques, assessment methods and selection processes.
  • Deliver market insights and advisory support to inform hiring decisions and shape effective recruitment strategies.
  • Develop proactive talent pipelines for critical and frequently hired roles, maintaining relationships with prospective candidates and industry networks.
  • Support the creation and implementation of long-term talent acquisition strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Advance diversity and inclusion objectives through inclusive sourcing strategies and fair, consistent hiring practices.
  • Develop and implement best-practice in-house recruitment processes to minimise reliance on agencies and ensure consistency across hiring activities.
  • Maintain ATS data accuracy and produce recruitment reporting and insights to inform workforce planning.
  • Promote Savills Investment Management’s employer brand and culture throughout the recruitment process.
  • Ensure clear communication and a positive candidate experience at all stages of the recruitment journey.
  • Collaborate with HR and Marketing to strengthen the firm’s presence in the talent market.
  • Comply with all regulatory requirements, laws, and the firm’s policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to the Code of Conduct and SM&CR Conduct Rules (UK only) and other local regulatory requirements.
  • Consider responsible investment factors and ensure they are integrated into the recruitment process.

Qualifications

  • Strong track record of direct sourcing and building talent pipelines using LinkedIn and other sourcing tools.
  • Significant experience in full-cycle talent acquisition, ideally within investment management, real estate or financial services.
  • Interest in HR and willingness to support wider team initiatives.
  • Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and hiring managers in a consultative capacity.
  • Experience managing multiple recruitment processes simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of the investment management and finance talent market.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a global team.
  • Strong Excel and analytical abilities, with experience managing budgets and reporting savings from direct sourcing.
