The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for delivering a high-quality, in-house recruitment service across Savills Investment Management’s global offices, with a strong focus on reducing reliance on external recruitment agencies and lowering overall recruitment spend. By developing effective direct sourcing strategies and strengthening internal hiring capability, the role supports the organisation in building a sustainable and cost-effective talent acquisition function.

The role partners closely with hiring managers, HR colleagues and senior stakeholders to attract, identify and hire exceptional talent that supports the organisation’s growth and long‑term business strategy. The Talent Acquisition Manager leads the full recruitment lifecycle across all global business areas, using our applicant tracking system, from role briefing through to offer and onboarding. The role is also responsible for enhancing the candidate experience, strengthening internal recruitment processes, and positioning Savills Investment Management as an employer of choice within the investment management industry.

Role Responsibilities
  • Ownership of the Company’s Talent Acquisition Policy and resourcing budget, ensuring all new hires are budgeted and approved accordingly with internal governance.
  • Partner with Group Finance to ensure proposed salary levels are aligned with market benchmarks during the resource planning and forecasting process.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR colleagues to define role requirements, candidate profiles and hiring strategies.
  • Establish and maintain strong, credible relationships with hiring managers, acting as a trusted advisor on all recruitment matters.
  • Directly source and attract high‑calibre candidates using a variety of channels including LinkedIn, professional networks, referrals and direct sourcing.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from role briefing through to offer and onboarding.
  • Develop and maintain high‑quality job descriptions and recruitment materials that accurately reflect business needs and market positioning.
  • Screen applications and assess candidates to develop high‑quality shortlists aligned to agreed role requirements.
  • Coordinate interview processes to ensure an efficient and positive experience for candidates and hiring teams.
  • Manage offer processes including compensation discussions and negotiations in partnership with HR and hiring managers.
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and search partners where necessary, including developing and negotiating standard terms of business across jurisdictions, and maintaining the SIM preferred supplier list (PSL).
  • Track and report on agency spend and cost savings from direct hiring.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to hiring managers on best‑practice interview techniques, assessment methods, and selection processes.
  • Deliver market insights and advisory support to inform hiring decisions and shape effective recruitment strategies.
  • Develop proactive talent pipelines for critical and frequently hired roles.
  • Maintain strong relationships with prospective candidates and industry networks to support future hiring needs.
  • Support the development and implementation of long‑term talent acquisition strategies aligned to business objectives.
  • Advance diversity and inclusion objectives through inclusive sourcing strategies and fair, consistent hiring practices.
