You will join as a trainee as part of the Investment20/20 programme. The Investment20/20 programme has over 60 investment management member firms and has supported over 2,000 young people to start their career in the industry. As a Business Development Analyst you will be introduced to investment management and you will gain industry knowledge, experience and develop relationships to progress your career and develop skills to secure a permanent role. As part of the Investment20/20 programme, you will have opportunities to meet and network with over 300 trainees across the industry and participate in socials and insight events. Our trainee programme is a 12-month fixed term contract with a competitive salary of £30,000 and will receive 25 days annual leave. This role is based in London.
The UK Client Capital team sits at the heart of Savills IM’s capital raising and investor relations activities. The team works closely with institutional investors and consultants globally, managing all aspects of client engagement, business development and marketing communications. As a Business Development Analyst, you will join a dynamic team and gain exposure to how we communicate with institutional investors, support new business development and contribute to the smooth running of the team’s day-to-day operations. This is a varied, hands-on role sitting at the centre of our capital raising and client engagement activities. Full training and support will be provided.
As a Business Development Analyst, you will gain broad experience across client capital and business development, including:
- Supporting the creation, development and maintenance of high-quality PowerPoint presentations used with institutional investors and consultants;
- Assisting in building and managing a central library of slides, ensuring consistency, accuracy and alignment with the Savills IM brand;
- Helping update marketing materials including fund teasers, pitchbooks and market insights;
- Assisting in maintaining and updating new business pipeline reports and internal management reporting;
- Supporting research into new client segments, consultants and investor targets;
- Assisting with meeting preparation, including logistics, materials and follow-up actions;
- Maintaining accurate records of client and prospect interactions, supporting CRM updates;
- Supporting responses to client and consultant queries, including assisting with RFPs and due diligence questionnaires;
- Helping ensure client data, materials and documentation are accurate and up to date;
- Contributing to improving internal processes, organisation of materials and team efficiency;
- Supporting coordination of internal and external meetings or events;
- Working collaboratively with teams across the business.

- No prior experience in real estate or financial services is required;
- Good working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
