Savills Rural team operate at the forefront of dynamic and forward thinking land management. From a UK network of over 30 offices, our surveyors and rural professionals offer a range of advice to clients including traditional estate management, the preparation of farms and estates for sale, forestry management and investment, as well as consultancy services such as valuation or acting in the delivery of infrastructure projects.
As a graduate on the rural pathway, no one day is the same. In a typical day, a rural graduate could be out walking boundaries and inspecting crops, dealing with residential, commercial or agricultural landlord and tenant issues, carrying out property refurbishments or negotiating terms for access agreements and easements. The breadth of experience that Savills graduates obtain is second to none.
The Edinburgh Estate Management team is a friendly, supportive, and fun team. As a graduate Surveyor based in Edinburgh, you'll gain hands-on experience working on interesting Estates across Scotland and North Northumberland. You'll collaborate with colleagues from a wide range of disciplines, including energy, residential development, leisure and valuation, giving you exposure to diverse projects and helping you build a well-rounded understanding of the rural property sector.
The Winchester Estate Management team combines a strong, successful output with a genuinely enjoyable team culture. Regular collaboration, mentoring and social events help create a supportive environment where people can develop both professionally and personally.
The variety of work undertaken provides an outstanding grounding for APC candidates, exposing them to a broad range of rural surveying disciplines and helping them build the technical and commercial skills needed for qualification and beyond.
