Purpose of the Role
Security officers at OMNi are expected to deliver exemplary standards of safety, security and customer service to both internal and external customers.
Security officers will assist with the day-to-day smooth running of the centre, including but not limited to emergencies, visible security cover in the centre, handling of customer enquiries and concerns, CCTV and control room duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Montior on-site health, safety and security.
- Record and report all incidents / occurrences via Datastation (online compliance portal).
- Control and supervision of contractors.
- Respond to all reasonable request from tenants, including requests for assistance.
- To carry out any other reasonable request made by the Line Manager.
- Normal control room duties e. g. Answering telephone, monitoring systems, filing, monitor email account and respond in timely manner, manage service yard operations.
- The above is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities, you may be required to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Valid SIA frontline licence
- Valid SIA CCTV licence (Preferable but not essential – Training will be provided)
- Good alertness / vigilance
- Ability to lead and work well within a team
- Good communication, both written and spoken, respectful and empathetic
- Customer service
- Punctuality
- Good judgement
Working Hours - Average 42 hrs per week, 4 on 4 off (Day shift & Night Shift – rotational), 12 hrs per shift.
