Security Officers at Ocean Terminal are expected to deliver a high level of security and customer service to all our customers. Security officers will assist in the day-to-day running of the centre, including regular patrols both internally and externally, and handling any customer enquiries and concerns.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor on-site safety and security.
- Record and report all incidents.
- Respond to all reasonable requests from tenants including requests for assistance.
- Control and supervision of contractors.
- CCTV monitoring.
- Answer emails & telephones.
- Approving permits.
The above list is not exclusive; you may be asked to do other tasks delegated by management.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Valid SIA door supervisor licence.
- Valid CCTV preferable but not essential as training will be given.
- Good communication, verbal and written.
- Respectful and empathic.
- Customer service.
Working Hours
40 hours per week, 4 days from 7.
Salary
£12.71 per hour.
