Purpose of the Role

Responsibility for reviewing, administering and issuing of contractor requests to access site, including but not limited to reviewing risk assessments, method statements and insurance policies, liaising with on‑site operatives and contractors’ offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • To operate and maintain the Contractor Tracker system.
  • To ensure the centre’s work permit authorisation is followed with contractors’ access requests and permits are in place for all on‑site activity in line with centre procedures.
  • Issuing and tracking of keys and swipe cards.
  • Issuing and tracking of staff radios.
  • To handle incoming telephone, face‑to‑face and email queries.
  • To support the broader department functionality, including Helpdesk.
  • To maintain a strict code of confidentiality for all business information.
  • To maintain safe working practices in line with Health and Safety policies.
  • To ensure the continual security of all Company and Retail Partner’s assets and confidential information.
  • To maintain a smart appearance at all times in line with the Company dress code.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Essential:

  • Polite, professional, articulate, and a confident communicator (both written and verbal) with previous experience of interacting with internal and external customers.
  • A high level of interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
  • Adaptable and flexible whilst working in a busy environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Understanding the need for confidentiality when dealing with both internal and external information.
  • Full Training will be given to the successful applicant including IOSH.

Desirable:

  • Strong knowledge of Retail and Landlord areas of the Scheme.
  • Knowledge of facilities management, M&E plant, statutory compliance.
  • IOSH Qualification.

Working Hours – Part‑time. Monday to Friday 07:00 – 11:00. 20 hours a week.

Salary – £13.19 per hour.
