Purpose of the Role
To ensure the centre is maintained in such a way that all rubbish is removed regularly and cleaned daily. To ensure that any food or liquid spillages are attended to and cleaned as soon as possible. To maintain the floor and entrances to a good standard. To dispose of rubbish in the correct manner and help us to meet our recycling goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Refuse collection from waste bins.
- Removal of all food and liquid spillages.
- Segregating waste and disposing in the correct bins.
- Jet washing entrances and service areas.
- Maintaining Back of House areas such as corridors and staircases.
- Maintaining Front of House areas including flooring, glass, escalators and lifts.
- Any other reasonable duties.
- Be aware of site specific duties.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Essential
- Experience in the provision of cleaning services in a busy environment visited by members of the public.
- Ability to demonstrate a good level of customer service.
- Basic knowledge of H&S legislation.
- Ability to work on own initiative and deal with demanding situations.
- Honest and reliable work ethic.
