Purpose of the Role

Ipswich is our preferred base for this role, however, Manchester would be considered. Savills Place provides Marketing services to Shopping Centres across the UK and the purpose of the role is to assist with the day to day management of billings to these clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaison with Marketing Managers and Executives on finance matters
  • Liaison with and assistance to head office finance team on month end reconciliations and year end reporting
  • Liaison between head office and internal team with any ongoing queries
  • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Ensuring staff in the marketing team adhere to financial procedures and policies of the department and the company
  • Prepare journals e.g. accruals & prepayments
  • Coordination of credit card spreadsheet completion by the team (receipts and billing info) and provide journals for the SMR finance team for cost/client allocation
  • Monthly and quarterly billings
  • Keeping all client information up to date and current
  • Purchase Order System Management, ensuring we have an accurate overview at all times
  • Reconcile and balance all accounts
  • Liaison with debtors, escalating to relevant people where appropriate
  • Ensure client held funds are reconciled and accounted for each month
  • Provide reports to Marketing Managers and Execs, as required

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Smart, presentable and reliable
  • GCSE C+ in Maths and English
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong ability to multitask and prioritise own workload
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft office - Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Confident personality with ability to work independently or in a team
  • Ability to work to a monthly schedule and meet deadlines on a regular basis
  • Helpful nature and a can do attitude
  • Ability to work with discretion

Desirable

  • A Levels in English, Maths or Business
  • Proven bookkeeping experience
  • AAT qualified or qualified by experience

Working Hours - Part-Time 16 hours per week
