Purpose of the Role
The Nightshift Operative is accountable to the Nightshift Duty Manager for the delivery of cleaning.
You will ensure exemplary standards of cleaning, security and customer service are provided to customers at all times. You will also be compliant with all statutory, contractual and company regulations and processes.

Key Responsibilities
- To deliver all cleaning, waste operations within the shopping centre.
- Sweeping, mopping and cleaning floors (both FOH and BOH)
- Emptying bins and removing rubbish
- Escalator Cleaning
- General cleaning duties around the centre to meet with periodic schedules
- To comply with all the health and safety procedures for the department- COSHH, SSOW, Risk Assessments, SOPs, TBT and PPE.
- To report any maintenance defects relating to the building and its fixtures and fittings
- To operate machinery in accordance with operating manual and training
- To be flexible and willing to change shifts for business needs
- To attend meetings and training provided by the trainer on all operational subjects
- Any other reasonable task requested by a member of the supervisory/ management team
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Enthusiastic to learn
- Experience in using various cleaning machines and equipment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of COSHH
Working Hours -40 hours per week (5 out of 7 days) – Nightshift
Salary -£26,640.00 (£12.81per hour)
