As a CCTV Operator, you will play an important role in helping keep Star City safe.

Working as part of the wider centre team, you will monitor CCTV systems, identify and respond to incidents, communicate effectively with colleagues on the ground and help ensure appropriate action is taken when issues arise.

No two days will be the same.

From supporting the day-to-day operation of a busy entertainment destination to responding to incidents and assisting with major events and peak trading periods, you will need to remain alert, professional and calm under pressure.

A valid SIA Public Space Surveillance (CCTV) Licence is required for this role.

  • Purpose of the Role
  • To provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our guests, staff, and contractors
  • Customer service experience to our customers
  • To ensure full compliance with Health & Safety Policy for the centre
  • Supporting the centres Operation with adhering to the company process and procedures
  • Compliance paperwork, uploading rams 7 insurance for contractors and visitors
  • Assisting with site incidents via cctv cameras

Key Responsibilities

  • Reports to the Duty Manager and Centre Management Team
  • To comply with their individual responsibilities to ensure that the requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order are complied with, in line with company policy and site procedures.
  • Ensure that all incidents, H&S issues are recorded & logged
  • Ensure that contractors arriving on site adhere fully to requirements for contractor management and site H&S in line with the company policy and site procedures.
  • Report any H&S issues to Centre Management and act accordingly
  • Ensure visitors & contractors fully comply with site procedures
  • Follow lost property procedures for items of lost property found onsite
  • Attending site incidents in an effective way
  • Key Communication via radio with colleagues and the Operations Centre
  • Report writing, and following up tasks
  • Key customer service skills to support our customers
  • Deploying team and positions
  • Public queries
