We offer an exceptional working environment built around professional development, flexibility, innovation, and team wellbeing. As a large practice, we can offer flexibility and structured support that few can match:

  • Start/finish times tailored to your needs
  • Generous and predictable school-holiday leave policy
  • A single PCN practice with all ARRS roles in-house
  • Reduced clinic content aligned with BMA safe working guidance (10 + up to 2 visits AM; 12 PM; no extras)
  • Evenly distributed visit demand (max 2 per GP)
  • Protected clinic time supported by separate on-the-day triage and EPS management
  • A daily support GP to handle urgent issues, trainee and medical student supervision and mentor colleagues
  • Weekly paid Education Session
  • Protected mentoring time for newly qualified GPs

We prioritise wellbeing and work-life balance through:

  • Staff benefits - child‑care vouchers, bike‑to‑work scheme, free eye tests
  • Competitive salary with transparent pay progression
  • A structured, supportive induction programme

Main duties of the job:

In accordance with the agreed practice timetable, the post‑holder will be available to carry out a range of general practitioner duties. These include, but are not limited to: conducting clinics (routine face‑to‑face, telephone and home visit appointments; duty doctor sessions; e‑consult triage clinics; and same‑day support GP work); managing results, tasks, documents, paperwork and referrals in a timely manner; checking and signing repeat prescriptions and participating in quality improvement activities and learning event analysis.

About us:

  • Strong links with local healthcare networks, educational institutions, and community services

We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive, innovative, and friendly environment where clinicians can thrive.

  • Ability to assimilate large quantities of information quickly and accurately and communicate it clearly
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to support and enthuse
