The Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for managing the Talent team and will report into the Senior Talent & Personal Development Manager. The purpose of the role is to create and deliver an attraction strategy to meet recruitment KPIs including time to fill and cost per hire, while ensuring a positive candidate experience is maintained throughout all recruitment processes. This role supports the landing of the Talent strategy, ensuring the business has a strong employer brand and maximising this through social media with creative ideas to minimise costs.
A typical day in this role includes:
- Accountability for the talent team line management and development
- Owning the budget for your area of Talent Acquisition
- Providing continuous reporting & presentations for the business when required
- Upskilling Line Managers through training and development regarding recruitment and selection processes
- Providing advice and information concerning external market conditions for your areas of responsibility
- Working with the HR Business Partners to ensure succession plans are utilised when needed
- Ensuring that the correct recruitment processes are followed and that the KPIs of time to fill, percentage fill, and cost per hire are met
- Supporting line managers with their recruitment of management roles using cost-efficient and creative methods including advertising, head hunting, direct searches, social media, networking, and job boards
- Organising and running assessment centres and careers fairs to recruit and build a database of quality candidates
- Ensuring the employer brand guidelines are adhered to and kept up to date
- Maintaining and progressing www.savers.jobs - taking full accountability of the careers site
- Managing our Indeed Company page & content
- Promoting and ensuring the success & growth of our Savers Jobs (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn & TikTok)
- Maintaining and developing all recruitment materials ensuring they fit our employer brand and are always available for our stores
- Providing an excellent candidate experience from application to onboarding
- Ensuring our processes for candidates are up to date and that Savers provides excellent service
- Maintaining positive relationships with all key stakeholders for areas of responsibility through delivery of service levels
- Taking ownership of Hybrid recruitment, ensuring stores have the training and support from the talent team to provide an excellent candidate experience
- Ensuring all SLAs are met and outstanding service & support is given to the stores to ensure success
- Supporting/leading with Retail Management recruitment (& Head Office when required)
