This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week based in our Dunstable Head Office with 2 days a week working from home.

Responsibilities – Typical Day
  • Working closely with the People team to bring our people plans and activities to life
  • Giving clear, confident advice and coaching to managers and colleagues across the business
  • Supporting ER cases in a fair, practical and timely way, including performance improvement, disciplinary, grievance and absence matters
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders, spotting trends and stepping in with proactive support when it’s needed
  • Looking at people data and sharing useful insight, feedback and recommendations with our People Business Partners
  • Helping managers create a great probation experience for new starters, with open, supportive communication from day one
  • Keeping our Savers culture at the heart of how we support people, even through the more challenging moments
  • Finding smarter, simpler ways to improve our People processes and make things work better for our teams
  • Reviewing past ER cases, taking the learnings and using them to help us deliver an even better service in the future
  • Getting involved in wellbeing and engagement activity that helps our colleagues feel supported and connected
  • Supporting training needs for new managers and helping build an induction that gets them settled into Savers quickly and confidently
  • Supporting and delivering people projects and events that add real value to our teams and the business
