Merchandise Manager
**This role does not involve management of people, merchandise only**
Based in Dunstable Head Office
Role Purpose:
To build and maintain store plans in collaboration with commercial and supply chain team to ensure most optimum plans are rolled out to the stores to drive commerciality, sales, and right stock.
This job is a good fit for you if:
Have in-store knowledge of shop ability and varying shop kit
Be strong at merchandising and managing stock
Be comfortable in challenging the right pinch points between Store Operations, Replenishment & Commerciality.
Effective in communication with all relevant departments
Proficient in Excel
Flexible to travel to and work from Head Office in Dunstable and stores across the UK, if needed
Key Accountabilities
Responsible for getting stock in-out of mock shop
Merchandising section from scratch to finish
Being involved in commercial and operational review & carry out changes as needed
Building plans to fit 90% of the stores in the business
Use excel database to optimise the plans
Capture data to translate physical bays into virtual store
Prepare planners for RAMS
Updating the planner on weekly basis for new and discontinued lines.
Review weekly new and discon lines in store to ensure accuracy of planner
Circulate plans to stores and other relevant departments
Preparing Ad hoc plan updates
Meeting deadlines to prepare plans
Pick on any key stock issues in stores and flag with relevant department
Prepare guidance pictures for stores of any new range launch
Support in making RMS better through feedback from key departments
Keeping the plans and picture library up to date with any updates
