We are looking for a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team and support the development of our graphene-based heating technology platform, including applications such as underfloor heating, skirting heaters, and architectural heating systems. This role will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and certification of electrical systems within our heating products. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing power systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the engineering of innovative heating solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical architectures for graphene heating products.
- Select and integrate off-the-shelf electrical components (PSU, Batteries, etc.) into heating systems.
- Design electrical protection systems and wiring configurations.
- Develop electrical schematics, system diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Work with Technical and Commercial teams to integrate electrical systems into heating products.
- Define and conduct electrical and thermal performance testing.
- Work with external laboratories on product validation and certification.
- Support regulatory compliance including CE marking, EMC testing, and safety standards.
- Define and oversee system-level tests from prototype through to production.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Knowledge of low-voltage power systems and electrical safety design.
- Experience on selecting and integrating components into electrical systems.
- Ability to create electrical schematics and system documentation.
- Experience with product testing and validation.
- Experience with CE, EMC, UL, or other product compliance Standards.
- Strong problem-solving and hands-on engineering skills or “Can do Attitude”.
Desirable Experience
- Familiarity within Project Management activities.
- Experience with electric heating systems or resistive heating technologies.
- Experience with thermal systems or heat transfer concepts.
- Experience designing electrical enclosures or system integration.
- Experience working with external test labs or certification bodies.
- Knowledge of graphene or advanced heating materials is a plus.
