Save the Children UK has an exciting opportunity for an individual with extensive experience leading MarTech, CRM and customer engagement transformation programmes to join us as our Marketing Technology Transformation Lead. In this role, you'll lead a critical phase of our customer engagement transformation, ensuring our investment in new marketing technology delivers better supporter experiences, stronger engagement and long-term organisational value.

Note: This is a 1-year fixed term contract opportunity.

About us

Save the Children UK believes every child deserves a future. In the UK and around the world, we work every day to give children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. When crisis strikes, and children are most vulnerable, we are always among the first to respond and the last to leave. We ensure children's unique needs are met and their voices are heard. We deliver lasting results for millions of children, including those hardest to reach.

About the role

As Marketing Technology Transformation Lead, you will lead the successful transition from Adobe Campaign Manager to Dotdigital and embed the new customer engagement capability across the organisation. Working across fundraising, marketing, data, technology and external partners, you'll drive adoption, establish sustainable ways of working and ensure the programme delivers measurable improvements in supporter engagement, retention and value.

Working alongside a Project Manager and specialist delivery teams, you will add value through providing direction, alignment, challenge and accountability, rather than personally managing every technical workstream.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the completion of the Adobe Campaign Manager to Dotdigital transition and ensure replacement capabilities are fully operational.
  • Own the transformation roadmap, priorities, dependencies and key decisions.
  • Align teams across fundraising, marketing, data, technology and external partners to deliver programme outcomes.
  • Lead business readiness, adoption and operational change activities.
  • Establish clear governance, ownership and decision-making frameworks for the ongoing customer engagement capability.
  • Ensure the programme delivers measurable improvements in supporter experience, engagement, retention, income and efficiency.

About you

You may come from a large charity, membership organisation, financial services, retail or another sector with complex customer engagement operations. You're a collaborative, commercially minded transformation leader who excels at bringing people together, navigating complexity and turning technology investment into meaningful customer and business outcomes.

To be successful, it is important that you have:

  • Significant experience leading complex MarTech, CRM or customer engagement transformation programmes.
  • A strong understanding of marketing automation, CRM, customer data and customer journeys.
  • Experience leading cross-functional organisational and operational change.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, including working with senior leaders and external partners.
  • A pragmatic, delivery-focused approach with the ability to drive progress in complex environments.
  • Commitment to Save the Children's vision, mission and values.

We'd particularly love to hear from candidates who also demonstrate:

  • Experience with Dotdigital, Salesforce, Adobe Campaign or similar platforms.
  • Experience in a charity, fundraising, membership, subscription or customer-focused organisation.
  • Experience using technology and data to improve customer engagement, retention or lifetime value.
