Save the Children International has an exciting opportunity for an Intern, Business Analysis to join our global team.

This role will report into the Business Analysis and Business Architecture function, supporting Business Analysts and Transformation teams in understanding business needs, analysing processes, and contributing to the delivery of change initiatives across the organisation. The intern will assist in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams by gathering requirements, documenting processes, and supporting solution design activities. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business analysis within a global organisation.

The intern will develop core analytical, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills, while gaining exposure to real-world transformation challenges and learning how business analysis contributes to strategic decision-making and organisational change.

Principal Accountabilities:
  • Support the elicitation and documentation of business requirements, creating process maps and user stories, assisting in data analysis, and contributing to the production of high-quality project documentation.
  • Support quality assurance activities by reviewing deliverables to ensure consistency, completeness, and alignment with agreed standards.
  • Work closely with the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) and project teams to ensure that analysis outputs are effectively integrated into project delivery, supporting successful implementation and value realisation.
Experience and Skills:Essential:
  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as International Development, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to manage various tasks including administrative duties, meeting coordination, and document management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage positively with a diverse range of teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with collaborative tools like SharePoint or Jira is desirable.
  • Analytical thinking to assist in problem-solving.
Desirable:
  • Experience in business analysis roles, possibly through previous internships or university projects which reflect experience in a structured environment working on complex tasks.
  • Ability to work within a global team environment, demonstrating a commitment to organisational values, ethical conduct, and collaborative achievement across diverse teams and perspectives.
