Volunteering in the shop

Our shop volunteers help with a variety of tasks, including sorting and pricing items, engaging with customers, ringing items through the till, creating window displays, and keeping the shop floor organised.

Commitment

Volunteers decide how many hours they wish to contribute. Some volunteer a couple of hours a week, while others do more. Availability will be discussed after the application is reviewed.

Qualifications

  • No retail or shop experience required – full training will be provided.
  • Team player who is open to learning and follows Save the Children’s policies.
  • Excellent representative of Save the Children.
  • People from all backgrounds are welcome.
