Save My Exams is a rapidly growing EdTech business on the lookout for an ambitious mid-level History Content Creator on a 6 month contract. Job Requirements:

  • Experience as a teacher or tutor of History (ideally 2+ years) covering the IB, GCSE and/or A-level qualifications for History.
  • You’re a subject specialist with a relevant degree (2:1 or higher).
  • Exceptional written and verbal English.
  • The ability to clearly communicate challenging concepts to a student audience.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confident in using a range of digital tools and platforms, with a proactive approach to developing skills in AI technologies.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Examiner experience – either marking or writing exam questions.
  • Experience writing your own exam questions.
  • Experience with International exam boards, e.g. IGCSE, IAL, IB and AP.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality, course-specific revision content which includes:
  • Concise Revision Notes that aid students in understanding and consolidating their History knowledge, from basic principles to the most challenging concepts.
  • Differentiated exam-style questions.
  • Mock exams that replicate an exam experience for students.
  • Student-friendly model answers and mark schemes that clearly convey how students can best respond to exam questions.
  • Work with the wider content team, including our Subject Leads, and others across the business to continually refine and develop our systems and processes:
    • Collaborating with other content creators to regularly review and improve the quality of resources.
    • Work with the AI team to enable AI-marking of our questions.
    • Participate in workshops/testing with our engineering teams to improve the user experience on our site.
    • Work with the customer support team to answer customer queries and concerns regarding the History content on-site.

    Job Benefits:

    • Competitive annual salary of £33,000 - £39,000 depending on experience & skills.
    • 36 days of annual leave, this includes the UK bank holidays but you can take them whenever suits you.
