Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Steel Erector to join our client\’s team on a Contract basis. The ideal candidate will hold a valid IPAF ticket and have a strong background in structural steel erection on commercial and/or industrial sites.
Responsibilities
- Erecting and installing structural steel components as per engineering drawings
- Operating powered access equipment (MEWPs) safely and efficiently
- Assisting with bolting, welding prep, and alignment of steel structures
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and complies with health & safety regulations
- Working as part of a team to meet project deadlines
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Steel Erector
- Valid IPAF ticket (3a & 3b preferred)
- CSCS card (essential)
- Strong understanding of site health & safety
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Own PPE and tools (if required)
