We're recruiting a
Field Service Engineer to join our team, covering the Wakefield area.
You don't need to come from a traditional engineering background to succeed here. This role is ideal if you've worked in a handson, practical environment and are comfortable using tools, faultfinding and working independently. Experience involving electrical work, joinery, mechanical tasks or installationbased roles is beneficial and full training is provided .
You'll spend your day installing, servicing and repairing our stairlifts in customers' homes. Just as important as technical ability is your drive to do a great job , manage your own workload and deliver a positive, professional customer experience.
This is a role for someone who enjoys owning their day , planning their time effectively and pushing themselves to succeed. A full, clean driving licence is required as you'll be travelling within your region, and you'll take part in a
1in4 oncall rota , with additional payments for callouts.

- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
- Regular, consistent overtime available
- Weekend availability
- 1 in 4 oncall rota for evenings and weekends (paid if called out)
To be successful in this role, you'll need
- Experience in a handson, practical role, comfortable using tools and working in customers' environments
- Exposure to electrical work, joinery, mechanical tasks or installationbased work (advantageous but not essential - full training provided)
- A strong work ethic and drive to succeed, with the motivation to maximise performance and earnings
- The ability to manage your own time effectively, plan your day and work independently
- A customerfocused approach, with good communication skills and a professional manner
- Confidence working alone while also being part of a wider team
- A flexible attitude, including willingness to work overtime and take part in an oncall rota
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Good local or regional geographic awareness
