We’re looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering team at our manufacturing site in Kingswinford. You’ll cover both planned preventative maintenance and reactive work, from day-to-day repairs through to fault diagnosis and longer-term improvements across the site.

The role combines hands-on maintenance with fault finding, coordination, and continuous improvement.

  • Support the continuous operation of site machinery and equipment across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC disciplines.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated systems.
  • Use internal systems to log maintenance activity, including PUWER risk assessments, and ensure clear communication back to the Production Engineering Manager.
  • Coordinate with contractors and suppliers, ensuring work is completed safely and in line with standards.
  • Occasionally manufacture or modify parts as required.
  • Provide technical support to supervisors and production teams.

Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 / ONC / City & Guilds / HNC / HND or equivalent in electrical or mechanical discipline).

Strong hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Mechanical systems and machine tooling.
  • Electrical systems up to 415V, including power distribution, motors, pumps, and PLCs.
  • Confident using IT systems (Outlook, Word, Excel) to manage and record work.
  • Positive team player with a flexible approach to working hours when required.
