We are seeking an expert Cloud Architect to design and optimise scalable, secure, and cost-effective multi-cloud solutions. In this role, you will leverage Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) as complementary strategic platforms. You will ensure seamless integration, high interoperability, and consistent governance across both environments while embedding cyber security best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design integrated multi-cloud architectures across Azure and GCP using cloud-native design patterns (microservices, event-driven, serverless).
- Establish robust networking and security frameworks , incorporating Zero Trust, SASE, firewalls, and cross-cloud integration patterns.
- Manage Kubernetes environments across Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Collaborate and negotiate with stakeholders to align technical scope, priorities, and trade-offs with broader organisational goals.
- Deliver architectural artefacts and decision logs to support large-scale IT transformation programmes.
What We Are Looking For
- Technical Depth: Broad knowledge spanning hybrid cloud, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps pipelines, virtualisation, high-availability databases, M365/Copilot, and disaster recovery.
- Compliance Standards: Experience working within secure, ITIL-compliant environments certified to ISO 20000, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, and PCI DSS .
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to solve complex problems, make data-driven decisions, and translate complex technical challenges into clear, actionable business outcomes.
