We're hiring a Solutions Engineer to own the technical demo motions for our B2B platform. You will play a critical role in advancing opportunities, accelerating technical validation, and helping the commercial team close and expand revenue.
About Us: Savanta is a leading data, market research and advisory company helping the world's leading brands make better decisions, faster. With over 500 people across offices in multiple countries, we combine deep research expertise, proprietary technology and high-impact consulting to give our clients a complete view of their markets, their customers and their competitors. Our platform gives clients access to over 100 million respondents globally, alongside a suite of intelligence products covering brand tracking, market monitoring, consumer trends, and AI-powered insight delivery. We work with leading organisations across financial services, retail, CPG, media, technology and the public sector.
About the Role: You will be the technical lead across the sales cycle, running discovery, designing solutions, delivering tailored demos, and executing proof-of-value engagements alongside commercial and product teams. You need a solid working understanding of modern AI frameworks, data and product. You won't be building production AI systems, but you will need to credibly explain how ours work, advise clients on implementation considerations, and prototype lightweight solutions when a deal calls for it. This is a client-facing role. The best candidate combines technical depth with the ability to translate complexity into clear, outcome-led narratives and knows how to move a technical audience from curiosity to confidence in service of advancing opportunities and closing revenue. This role is based out of our London office with an expectation to be onsite 1-2 days per week.
What you'll do:
- Design and deliver tailored technical demos that progress opportunities.
- Build and maintain demo environments, reusable assets, and repeatable demo flows.
- Lead technical discovery and translate requirements into solution approaches.
- Partner with Commercial/Account teams on technical win strategy, risk management, and unblockers.
- Own technical evaluation through the deal cycle (Q&A, architecture, feasibility, pilots/POCs with clear success criteria).
- Advise on AI and data considerations (workflows, data requirements, integrations, governance) and create pilot validation plans.
- Produce enablement materials (playbooks, templates, reference architectures) and support RFPs/security questionnaires.
- Share field feedback with Product/Engineering to improve demos and remove blockers to technical close.
With service at the heart of our business, a passion for exceeding client expectations is essential.
About You: The ideal candidate is someone with over three years’ experience working in a client-facing technical capacity within B2B software, such as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Implementation Consultant. Adept at collaborating closely with sales professionals, demonstrating a strong ability to navigate and advance complex B2B deals through effective partnership and technical expertise. Able to simplify technical complexity without losing accuracy and adjust depth for the audience. And comfortable working directly with client technical teams to troubleshoot, validate, and build confidence.
Proven experience in:
- Running high-quality technical demos and guiding stakeholders through technical evaluation to close.
- Understanding of modern AI concepts, data and common AI frameworks, sufficient to explain, advise, and hold your own with technical audiences.
- Data engineering fundamentals: data modelling, APIs/integrations, structured and unstructured data.
- AI Programming: enough to prototype, analyse data, and build demo extensions, not necessarily production-grade code.
And in return, Savanta offers:
- Salary range: £60,000 - £65,000
- Bonus/Commission scheme
- Unlimited annual leave
- Hybrid working
- Employee Assistance Program
- Flexible working practices
- Health & wellbeing package
- Ongoing Learning & Development
- Financial health (pension, life assurance, etc.)
- Team & Company Socials
- Committees for Health & Well Being, Charities & Volunteering and DE&I
Why Join Us: The company was founded on the belief that tech should be integral to its success, and this culture of tech innovation makes us best placed to put Savanta at the heart of our clients’ businesses offering solutions before they even know the problem.
