About the Role:

We're looking for a Marketing Manager to join the Marketing team on a 6 to 12-month secondment (with possibility to become a permanent role). You are not expected to arrive with marketing experience. This is a genuine opportunity to learn a completely new area, and you will be given the training you need to do the role. What matters is your insight experience, your ability to find and tell the story from our research, and your enthusiasm and interest in marketing.

This is a newly created role, which means you won't simply be executing an existing playbook - you'll help write it. You'll have real influence over how marketing works at Savanta, and the opportunity to shape our programmes, processes and presence across markets, particularly in the US, as we scale.

You'll setup/run our events (e.g. Most Loved) and webinar programme, drive our flagship repeat campaigns such as Grocery Eye, Consumer Compass and Business Confidence, and act as the connective tissue across the team, coordinating work that spans demand generation, content and product marketing. You’ll also work closely with and support the Sales organization on Account-based marketing (ABM) campaigns and coordinating campaign follow-up.

Key to the role is the ability to tell stories from data in a way that inspires and holds an audience's attention. If you have built that skill in our Research, Insight and Consulting teams, this is the chance to put it to work in front of a much wider audience.

During the secondment, you will remain on your current salary and benefits. At the end, you will either return to your substantive role or explore making the move permanent, subject to agreed goals being met.

About You:

You are proactive and commercially minded, and you bring structure, energy and momentum to a broad programme of campaigns, events and cross-functional work. You are comfortable managing several moving parts at once, working with stakeholders across marketing, sales and research, and turning insight and data into clear, compelling stories for external audiences.

You are hands-on, organised and delivery-focused, with the confidence to operate in a newly created role where the processes are still being shaped - taking ownership, spotting gaps, improving ways of working and keeping programmes moving without needing every step defined for you.

The ideal candidate must be:

  • A strong writer - able to produce clear, polished content and collateral with minimal oversight, and to bring data to life through storytelling.
  • Confident interfacing with sales and commercial teams - you see follow-up as part of the campaign, not someone else's job.
  • Strategic and creative - you spot opportunities, propose ideas and take the initiative rather than waiting for a brief, and you are energised by building in a growing team.
  • A proven multitasker - able to manage multiple projects and stakeholders at once without dropping balls.
  • A strong relationship builder - able to influence senior and junior colleagues alike and become a trusted advisor to the people you work with.
  • Curious and open to learning - keen to add marketing to your skill set. No prior marketing experience is needed.

Nice to have, but genuinely not essential - full training will be given:

  • Hands-on experience with a CRM or marketing automation platform, ideally HubSpot.
  • Familiarity with a CMS such as WordPress.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Monday.com or Trello.
  • Experience with webinar platforms such as Zoom Webinars or ON24, and event logistics.
  • Strong storytelling experience - taking data and telling stories to broad audiences.

Why take this role?

This is a rare chance to build on skills you already have while learning something completely new, and to amplify the work of our RIC team while spreading the word about Savanta.

You will gain:

  • A solid, well-rounded understanding of marketing - campaigns, events, content and demand generation, and how they fit together.
  • Experience marketing to diverse audiences across our offerings - B2B, SaaS, consulting - through a variety of in-person and digital channels.
  • Stronger cross-team project management skills - running several concurrent programmes across different functions, keeping everyone aligned on deliverables and deadlines, and bringing structure to work that spans several owners.
  • The detail of marketing analytics - from MQLs to conversion rates and campaign performance - so you understand what programmes produce, not just that they shipped.
  • A more visible profile across the team and the wider business, and a much clearer view of how Savanta goes to market.

Before applying, please talk to your Career Manager about your intention to apply. Then click the Apply link and let us know why you are interested in this role. Please apply by Wednesday 23rd September 2026 at the latest.
