Head of Engineering | Tech | London, UK

We are seeking a visionary Head of Engineering to lead our global engineering teams in delivering exceptional software solutions and driving technical excellence. This is a strategic leadership role, working closely with the CTO, Head of Product and Heads of Operations to align engineering with business goals and product transformation.

As Head of Engineering, you will lead global teams, define and execute engineering strategy, champion DevOps and QA practices, and drive innovation through AI‐assisted development.

• Overseeing engineering operations, budgets, and performance metrics, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
• Optimizing development processes and delivery pipelines.
• Fostering a culture of technical excellence, efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Collaborating cross‐functionally with Product, Design, and Data teams.
• Promoting adoption of emerging technologies and AI‐powered tools.

• Deep understanding of DevOps, QA, and modern development methodologies.
• Experience with AI‐assisted development, including agentic systems that enhance automation, decision‐making, and productivity.
• A tech‐first mindset and passion for innovation.
• Strong strategic thinking and operational execution skills.
• Demonstrated success in managing and motivating cross‐regional engineering teams.
• Expertise in implementing engineering metrics and performance frameworks.
• Familiarity with DORA metrics and CI/CD best practices.
• Strong stakeholder management and budget oversight capabilities.

Location and Working Arrangement: This role is based in our London office, with the expectation to be onsite 2–3 days per week.
